As a participant, after you have signed up for an event, you can post your registration to the Outside social media feed. Posting is an easy and effective way to share an event with friends that follow you and encourage others to sign up and participate!
If you make a post visible publicly (either to your followers only or to everyone), other users can interact with your post by giving you a virtual high-five, commenting on your post, or sharing your post. Other users can also register for the same event through your post on the feed.
Share Your Registration
- Upon completing the registration check-out process, a pop-up modal appears that allows you to post your event plans with friends on the Outside feed.
- Your default privacy setting will apply to the post; however, to change the visibility of this individual post, use the drop-down menu next to the Post button. To change your default privacy settings, visit this article.
- If you click out of the modal but still want to share your post to the feed, in the Order Summary section, click on the Outside icon next to the Facebook and Twitter icons.
For more information on the Outside feed, visit the Outside Help Center.
