Instructions to Setup Merchandise or Donation Card
On your Event Setup menu you will want to select the Merchandise option
You will have the option to "Add Item" which you will want to use for a Merchandise Item. If you are looking to add a Donation Card you will want to click on that.
To Setup Merchandise
You will want to choose if your item will have options or not:
- I am selling an item that requires participants to select options or sizes - You will want to select this if you are selling something like a shirt that will have multiple sizing options to choose from
- I am selling items with no options or sizes - You will want to use this when your merchandise option does not have sizes like a hat or parking
If you have merchandise items from other events there will also be an option to Copy An Existing Merchandise Item
Add the item's information
- Title
- Description
- Default Price - This will pre-populate the price as you add sizes/options
- Item Type - This sets how the merchandise item is taxed
(Optional) Add up to two images
Select your Item Settings
- Open For sale - If this box is checked participants can select and buy this item on the registration page
- Display on Registration Page - If this box is checked, the merchandise item will show up on the registration page, if you would like to hide it uncheck the box
- Show Quantitiy When Less Than 10
- Add Expiration Date - Checking this box allows you to add an expiration date where the merchandise item will no longer be allowed on the page.
Scroll down to "Item Options" to add sizes, pricing, and quantities; after inputting the item option, click "Add New Option." Continue adding new options until all options are added.
Lastly, select which Custom Questions (if any) apply to the merchandise item. Then click Save.
To Setup a Donation Card
Click on Add Donation Card and fill in the details
- Title
- Description
- Item Type - We recommend keeping this set to "Donation"
(Optional) Add photos
Fill out the Donation Card Settings
- Open For Donation - If this is checked participants will be able to donate
- Display On Registration Page - If this is checked the donation box will appear on the registration page. If it is unchecked it will be hidden
- Suggested Amounts - These are amounts that will show as suggested donation amounts. Participants will also be able to enter any amount they want
- Add Expiration Date - You can choose a date for the donation box to be hidden from the page
Custom Questions - Choose if any Custom Questions should apply to the donation box
Click Save
