You can use the Online Waiver tool to set up event-specific liability waivers that your participants can electronically sign during registration.
Participants must scroll through the waiver, agree to all terms, and enter their initials before completing registration.
Paper copies are not generated for online waivers; however, event directors can download and print a list of signed waiver data (initials, agreement details, etc.).
If a waiver is unsigned, there are multiple ways to send an email reminder to participants.

About the Waiver Signing Process
The waiver signing process differs depending on who registered a participant.
- With the exception of minors, all liability waivers must be signed by the participant. A proxy registrant is not authorized to sign on behalf of a participant.
- A parent or legal guardian must sign waivers for minor participants (under age 18).
When a liability waiver is presented during the registration process, the participant must:
-
Confirm Identity - Participant must declare whether they are the person shown on the waiver.
If Yes, the participant proceeds to Step 2 and completes the waiver signing process.
If No (participant was registered by a proxy such as a coach or a friend), an email containing a link to sign the waiver is sent to the participant's email address. Participant clicks the link and completes the waiver signing process.
Read Waiver Text - Participant scrolls to read through the entirety of the waiver text to the bottom.
Agree to All Terms - Participant must check the box to continue.
Enter Initials - Entering initials is equivalent to a full signature.
Submit Waiver - Participant MUST click Submit Waiver for the waiver to be considered signed.
About Waivers for Minors
If a participant is under 18 (based on birthdate entered during registration), the registrant must declare whether they are the parent or legal guardian of the participant.
If Yes, the parent/guardian must provide their name, relationship, and email and complete the waiver signing process on behalf of the minor participant.
If No (minor participant was registered by a proxy such as a coach or a family member), an email containing a link to sign the waiver is sent to the parent's or legal guardian's email address. Parent or legal guardian clicks the link and completes the waiver signing process on behalf of the minor.
