A fee schedule automatically adjusts the entry fee as specified dates pass as the event date approaches. Fee schedules let you offer early-bird discounts or incentivize participants to register sooner.
Note: To automatically adjust entry fees as the number of participants register, set up Block Pricing.
Add a Fee Schedule (by Date)
Log into your Event Director account and select your event.
On the left hand menu, click Category Setup.
Find the category to which you want to add a fee schedule and click Edit.
Scroll to the Additional Details section and toggle the Fee Schedule/Block Pricing section to the On position.
In the Fee Change Method field, select By Date. Your base entry fee and its effective date and time is shown.
To the right of the base entry fee, click its corresponding Edit button.
In the Effective Date field, enter the date and time you want the new entry fee to take effect.
In the Entry Fee field, enter the new total amount of the changed entry fee. Do not enter the increase or decrease amount. For example, to increase the base entry fee of $100 by $50, enter $150.
Click Save. The new entry fee and its associated effective date/time is listed.
Repeat the process for as many fee changes as you want to apply to your event.
To edit a scheduled fee change, click its corresponding Edit button, make the changes, and click Save.
When you are finished adding the fee schedule, click one of the green Save or Save Changes buttons.
