Using the athleteReg Credit Feature
The athleteReg credit feature allows Event Directors to offer participants a credit instead of a refund. This credit can be used for any active or future event in your account, or limited to specific events.

Credits can be adjusted in amount and expiration.

Participants receive an email with a code and a link to check their credit balance.

You can view and manage all issued credits in Event Director Tasks > Coupons / Credits.

Credits do not affect your event’s payout, you’ll still receive the full amount shown on your dashboard.
How to Issue a Credit

Log in to the event and find the participant (By clicking Registration Data > Edit/Search Registrations).

Click the ellipsis (⋯) next to the Edit button and select Refund / Credit.

In the Refund Type menu, choose Credit.

Decide whether to keep or remove the participant from their category.

The credit amount is pre-filled with their entry fee but can be adjusted.

Set an expiration date if needed (this can be changed later).

Edit the message that will be emailed to the participant, if desired.

Click Credit to finalize. The participant will receive an email with their credit details.
How to Edit a Credit

Go to Event Director Tasks > Credits.

Click Credits.

Find the credit you want to edit, Click the ellipsis (⋯) then click Edit.
