How to Delete an Event as an Event Director

Steps to Request Event Deletion

An event can only be deleted if it has zero registrations. If there are registrations in the event, it will need to be canceled instead. Need to cancel the event? Go here.

  1. Log into the event you would like to delete on athleteReg.

  2. On the left-hand side of the screen, go to:
    Event Setup > General Event Setup

  3. In the Event Name field, add the word “Delete” to the event name (example: "Smithville 5K – Delete").

  4. Click Save.

Once you’ve completed these steps:

Our support team will then remove the event from your account and the platform.

Please note: Deleting an event is permanent and cannot be undone.
