1. Add "Cancelled/Postponed" to Your Event Name (Optional)
If you’d like participants to clearly see that the event has been cancelled, you can update the event name:
Log into the event you need to cancel/postpone
On the left hand menu, click Event Setup > General Event Setup
In the Event Name field, add “Cancelled/Postponed” to the title (example, "Smithville 5K : Cancelled")
Scroll to the bottom and click the green Save button
2. Close Registration
To prevent new registrations:
On the left hand menu, click Event Setup > General Event Setup
Scroll down to the Dates section
Under Online Registration Open/Closing Date, click the calendar icon and set the closing date to today (or a past date)
Click the green Save button at the bottom of the page

3. Update Calendar Display Settings (Do Not Display)
To remove your event from the public calendar:
Log into your event.
On the left-hand menu, click Event Setup > General Event Setup.
Scroll down to the Dates section.
In the calendar display drop-down, select Do Not Display.
Click the green Save button at the bottom of the page.
Hold Funds for Potential Refunds
If you may need to issue refunds, you can place a funds hold on your account. This temporarily withholds a portion of your event’s earnings and can be removed at any time to allow payout.

To hold funds in your event account:
Specify the amount you’d like to hold
Set a release date for when the hold will end
The remaining funds will be disbursed to you after the hold expires
Process Refunds (If Applicable)
You can issue refunds individually or in bulk, depending on what works best for your event.
