Event Day is made simple and stress free with straight-forward procedures outlined below for both event directors and volunteers.
Check-In Participants
You can use either a mobile or non-mobile device to check in participants.
You can check people in who have registered online using a credit card or (if enabled) intend to pay for their event-day entry with cash. If paying with cash, a field is available to enter the amount of payment participant is submitting as well as mark their entry as paid.
Note: The Event Day Check-in tool pulls real-time data; therefore, a connection to WiFi or cell service is required.
Event Directors:
Log into your Event Director account and open the event for which you want to check in participants.
From the left side menu, open the Registration Data menu and click Event Day Check-in. The Event Day Check-In page appears with the Check-In tab open.
Proceed to Step 4 below.
Volunteers:
Locate the event access URL you received from the Event Director.
Click the event access URL. The Event Day Check-In page appears with the Check-In tab open.
Proceed to Step 4 below.
All:
In the Find a Participant field, enter participant's name, team, email, bib number, or confirmation number and click the arrow button,

If your device has a camera, click Scan Confirmation QR Code and scan the participant’s QR code.

Review participant details:

Category - Confirm that the participant category is correct.
If the category is incorrect or if the participant wants to change their category, click Change Category and from the pop-up drop-down menu, select the new category and click Change Category.
Waiver - If the liability waiver is incomplete, enter the participant email address (if blank) and click Email Waiver to send a link to the participant and instruct them to sign the online waiver.

Bib Number - If the Bib field is blank or if an existing bib number needs updating (ex. changed category), enter the bib number in the Bib field.
Merchandise - If applicable, distribute and mark any merchandise as picked up.
Entry Fee - If the participant has not yet paid their entry fee and cash payments are enabled, enter the cash amount received and click Collect Payment. The participant will be marked as paid.
- Click Check In.
The participant is checked in.
Undo Check-in
Upon checking in a participant, and an Undo Check In button appears.
If for any reason you need to undo a previously checked in participant (checked in under wrong name, missing waiver, etc.), you can easily reverse the check in and redo it with corrected information.
In the Find a Participant field on the Event Day Check in page, enter participant's name, team, email, bib number, or confirmation number and click the arrow button,
OR
If your device has a camera, click Scan Confirmation QR Code and scan the participant’s QR code.
Click Undo Check In. The participant is no longer checked in to the event.
Mark Participants as "Finished"
Keeping track to ensure all of your event participants are safely accounted for at the end of a race is an important aspect of running a safe and successful event.
For events that do not include timing, you can enable an option to manually mark checked in participants as "Finished." You can also include that information when you View and Download Registration Data.
In the Find a Participant field on the Event Day Check in page, enter participant's name, team, email, bib number, or confirmation number and click the arrow button,

If your device has a camera, click Scan Confirmation QR Code and scan the participant’s QR code.
Click Finished.
