Setting Sanctioning Body Restrictions by Category

In BikeReg, the Sanctioning Bodies section within Category Setup allows you to require athletes to enter:

  • USA Cycling license number

  • UCI code

  • AMB Transponder Chip number

The Sanctioning Bodies section in Category Setup is specific to BikeReg and is used to require athletes to enter their USA Cycling number or UCI code.

You can set your "Sanctioning Body" preferences and put requirements in place for athletes to enter their USA Cycling, UCI code, or an AMB Transponder Chip number.

 

Follow the steps below to set category restrictions:

1. On the left-hand menu, click Event Setup > Category Setup. 

2. Create or click "Edit" on an existing category > scroll down to "Restrictions."

3. From here, you can adjust the restrictions for the category.

 

If you have USAC sanctioning body enabled for your event, it is important to add Restrictions at the category level in order to fit your event's needs.
