It’s completely free for event directors to use athleteReg, no setup fees or subscriptions, ever!
ahleteReg charges a service fee for each registration. Service fees are charged by athleteReg for each registration. The event director does have the option to cover all or part of the service fee.
Most event event directors pass this fee on to participants, but they can choose to cover all or some of the fee. How to Cover Participant Service Fees

Service fees include a base fee plus a percentage, depending on the entry fee amount. The table below shows the current service fee structure.
